AGNT/01 is an Ottawa-based AI consultancy that sets up AI receptionists, missed-call text back, lead follow-up and review requests for small businesses in Barrie, Innisfil and Springwater. We work remotely, configure every system for PIPEDA and CASL, and start each project with a free AI audit.

Barrie holds 4,904 of the CMA's 6,967 locations. Innisfil adds 1,195 and Springwater 868, and those three municipalities make up the entire CMA.
Every figure is a count of locations with employees, so sole proprietors without staff are not included. Check the sources list.
Construction is the largest sector at 1,009 locations, ahead of retail trade at 898 and health care and social assistance at 819. Professional, scientific and technical services has 775 and other services 544.
The CMA has 264 building equipment contractors and 390 restaurants, and only 80 dentists, 126 law offices and 84 real estate offices. Trades and food service are the obvious places to start.
55.1% of locations have one to four employees, and 21.7% have ten to forty-nine.
Matched to the five largest sectors in the CMA. Quotes are the common thread, so the follow-up planner below is built around them.
| Barrie sector | Where enquiries leak | Automate first | Then add |
|---|---|---|---|
| Construction (1,009 locations) | A quote goes out, the customer goes quiet and the job is lost without a word. | Instant text on every missed call, then quote follow-up on a schedule. | Review requests once the invoice is paid. |
| Retail trade (898 locations) | Shoppers call before driving over to ask whether an item is in stock. | A receptionist for hours, stock and directions, with a text link. | Back-in-stock texts to opted-in customers. |
| Health care and social assistance (819 locations) | Callers want the next open slot and reach a busy desk. | Online and phone booking, with confirmations by text. | Recall messages for overdue visits. |
| Professional, scientific and technical services (775 locations) | First enquiries arrive in the evening and wait until morning. | After-hours intake that books a first call. | Follow-up on unsigned proposals. |
| Other services (except public administration) (544 locations) | One-off visitors who never rebook. | Text-based rebooking. | Reviews and win-back messages. |
Not sure which row you are? The free AI audit answers that in one call. For trades see AI for HVAC and trades.
Enter the day you sent the quote and the job type. The planner returns four follow-up texts with send dates. Edit them to sound like you.

Stop the sequence the moment the customer replies. Every text names the business and includes an opt-out, with consent logged, per CRTC guidance. The day gaps are editable assumptions, not a proven schedule.
PIPEDA is the baseline. The Privacy Commissioner of Canada lists only Alberta, British Columbia and Quebec as having general private-sector laws that apply instead of PIPEDA, so a Barrie, Innisfil or Springwater business follows the federal PIPEDA for customer information in commercial activity.
Health information. The same list shows Ontario as one of four provinces with a health information law treated as substantially similar to PIPEDA, for health information only. Clinics therefore keep scheduling separate from clinical questions, which go to staff.
Recording and texts. Callers hear a short notice that the call may be recorded, per the Commissioner's call recording guidance. Follow-up texts name the business, include an opt-out and log consent, as the CRTC sets out.
Law Society of Ontario. Simcoe County lawyers follow Chapter 3 of the Rules of Professional Conduct, which covers the lawyer-client relationship and confidentiality. Intake gives no legal advice.
Plain-language planning notes, not legal advice. Check unusual situations with your lawyer.

No. We are an Ottawa company and say so plainly.
Aniket Gandhi builds each system. There is no office in Simcoe County and nobody local to upsell you.
Calls are booked early, at lunch or after the job site closes, in Eastern time.
Before launch we call and text your actual number, so the first live customer sees a finished system.
